Mother’s Day is just around the corner, so add May 14th to your calendar if you haven’t already done so. That gives you just under two weeks to find the perfect present for your momma, or those special mommas in your life. I’ve put together a Mother’s Day Wish List to make it easy for you (us), because every mom deserves deserves a little pampering on her special day, and it wouldn’t be complete without a little something special too. (Am I right? ☺️) I have to give it to my husband here though, he does not need this wish list or any sort of gift guide. He always comes up with the sweetest and most thoughtful things to give me, especially from the girls – handmade cards with their little handprints. Oh melt my heart.
For those of us who are looking for suggestions to give or looking for special options to buy (not just those things moms desire), my wish is that this gives you a variety of options to suit every momma’s personality + needs.
one // espardilles flats: This stylish shoe is a must have for the summer. Easy to slip on and go for any activity – even the zoo with your babes. (Another affordable option here.)
two // lululemon gear: A momma can always use some new Lululemon attire. These are staple items in your workout wardrobe that won’t need be replaced for years, aka totally worth the investment. Pieces I want the most now: Define Jacket, Love Tank + Love Tee IV and Flow & Go Crop.
three // a mani + pedi plan: There’s something about pampering + rejuivinating time alone that is so. absolutely. wonderful. Plus having my nails done just makes me feel so much more put together. This Mother’s Day, treat a momma not just to a mani + pedi, but plan it out so she can go alone (maybe even with some shopping time?) and meet her for brunch after. If she likes to do her own, get her this color for sure!
four // plants: Rather than a bouquet of flowers, treat mom to flowers for the season. I always love receiving a hanging basket or to be taken on a garden date to pick out my perennials for the year. For those who don’t garden, did you know that Amazon ships plants? (Seriously, they ship everything.) Try these succulents – easy to keep for even the least green thumbs out there.
five // summer hat: Keep yo mama (or mama friends) stylish this summer and shade her face from those harmful rays. We all want to stay looking young, right? Wear this hat.
six // Chasing Slow: An easy and inspirational summer read for those kids afternoon nap times. I finished this book while on vacation and really enjoyed it. Just be sure to check if she wants the actual copy or the audio version – let’s face it, lots of times it’s easier to listen. And, if she’s already read it, try this one.
seven // IT Makeup Brushes: One key to applying good makeup is having good brushes. This set is fantastic (almost airbrush like upon application) and will serve a practical purpose + be a fun, unexpected surprise on Mother’s Day.
eight // spiralizer: Yes, yes, there are still moms who have not yet purchased a spiralizer despite the millions of Pinterest recipe ideas. Now is the time to change that! She can lighten up her typical pasta dishes this summer + use her garden harvest in new ways this year.
nine // summer bag: Every woman loves a seasonal bag, and this one has an amazing feature – it unzips to become even larger. This material is easily cleaned and durable enough for any outing. (I even used this as my carry on + beach bag on spring break!) Any mom would be lucky to have this. (Shop here and note I have the Indigo Ikat pattern.)
If you like something, love something or are thinking about buying something, be sure to add this to a Pinterest board to save + share the love.
Happy shopping and happy (almost) Mother’s Day!
